You have probably have noticed that coaching is now a normal part of a leader's life. The proliferation, acceptance and quality of coaching, is directly connected to the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which is led by Magdalena Nowicka Mook.
For my role on the board of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), we have an ambition to have facilitation to be as credible as coaching has become. Magda has been very generous with her time, and was our guest at our strategic retreat in 2021 – which informed our thinking about our plans for the future.
Later, I followed up with her for my monthly column on Membership Engagement, in Headquarters Magazine. The article focuses on engaging members in associations, but is relevant to all organisations who seek motivation and involvement.
